Griffiths III Part 2 Face to Face training: Brisbane 17-18 June 2021

We are  offering a shortened Griffiths III two-day face-to-face Part II  New User Practical Course following completion of the Part I e-Learning Module and the new Griffiths III Part II video module.  You will need to provide your Certificates of Completion for the Part I and Part II eModules before coming to the New User Practical Training.

Part I and Part II eModules fees are paid directly on the ARICD website, whereas the fee for this course is paid directly to the Course Organiser, Tania Pomario (See fee details below).

Acceptance into the course will also depend upon Health Department Guidelines and State border restrictions. This course will be run under current Health Department Guidelines, including limits on the number of people per room and with the use of remote video viewing to limit the number of trainees and presenters in small rooms. Trainees will be provided with hands on practical experience assessing children.

Once accepted into this Practical Course, trainees can book both the Part I e-Learning Module and  the Part II video module together on the Video Module booking page.   The Part II video module includes sections to help participants consolidate their learning from Part I and enable them to learn how to administer, score, interpret and report the Griffiths III assessment, in preparation for attending our two-day Practical course.  Please apply early to allow time for you to complete both e-modules before this Practical course.

Dates: Thursday 17th – Friday 18th June 2021 inclusive.

Times: Thursday 17 June 2021: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please arrive promptly.

Friday 18 June: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Venue:             TBC: Brisbane

Tutors:             Tania Pomario, Psychologist

Tutor-Trainee ratio: 1:4

Number of Trainee places: 4

Fees: $1500 per person (Note: this excludes fees for the Part I eModule and the Part II Video Module which are paid directly on the ARICD website).

Please note: If you wish to attend this course, please contact Tania Pomario, the Course Organiser to request an application form, as places are limited and allocated by a selection process. An invoice for payment will be sent to successful applicants and a place is reserved in the course when payment is received.

You cannot enrol for this Practical course on the ARICD website.

Enquiries: tania.pomario@gmail.com

Tel: 0422 006 071

Equipment and Course Manuals: Test kits and the manuals will be available for use during the course but arrangements can be made for you to purchase an Administration Manual prior to the course from the test distributor in Australia, Psychological Assessments Australia (PAA). This manual will assist with preparation for the Part I eModule, the Part II Video Module and our Part III two-day practical course. On occasion, some trainees purchase a kit in advance which can be delivered by PAA to the Course Coordinator at the course venue, not the trainees address.  Please note that the use of the kit requires that the trainee attend a practical course and receive accreditation following the training.

Meals: Meals and refreshments will be provided.

Accommodation:  A list of local accommodation will be forwarded to successful applicants alongside course information.
