This is Part II of the Training Course for New Users of Griffiths III, for candidates who have completed the Part I e-learning module. You will need your Certificate of Completion of Part I in order to be accepted for the course. For details on becoming a New User of Griffiths III, please see how to-be-a-new-Griffiths-III-user
For: Psychologists/Senior Psychologists at the Department of Education working with preschool aged children attending Department of Education Early Intervention Units.
As expected the course will provide opportunity for participants to familiarise themselves with the test material and participants will be requires to assess at least 2 children and observe assessment of 2 other assessments where the Griffiths III is administered. The children assessed will span the range of the test, that is babies to 6 years, and will be and will include those with typical developmental progression and children with special needs.

8.00 Familiarise with test – participants explore and administer in pairs.
Discussion of Testing techniques.
9.15 Assess child 0-12 months team 4.

1.30 Discussion of care of material
Each participant to demonstrate the correct presentation, usage and scoring of one test to the group for each of the scales in preparation for assessment of older age child.
